Sailing the San Blas Islands to Colombia

18 backpackers, 6 days aboard the boat, 1 not very nice captain, large unknown stash of rum and the most puke any of us have ever seen.

The San Blas Islands are a series of 378 small islands off the Caribbean coast of Panama leading almost all the way to the Colombian border. Only 49 of these islands are inhabited by the indigenous Kuna people who have steered clear of any outside influence or development. They still manage to survive off of coconut sales, hand made jewellery and their children asking tourists 1 dollar for photos.
Here are some of the hardworking faces of the San Blas.
Rains a comming.

The last few days of Panama.

some of our neighbours in our hostel.
fresh mixed civiche from the fisherman dock.

Its all fun and games until someone gets their head stomped in, but as hardcore as this may seem it was only dragon ball Z practice.
